23rd IEEE International Conference on Dielectric Liquids
ICDL is a research-oriented conference on dielectric liquids. This conference is fully sponsored by the IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS). It covers fundamental and applied topics as well as industrial applications.
The topics of the conference include:
- basic properties of the liquids (ionization, conductivity, space charge etc.),
- prebreakdown and breakdown phenomena in liquids,
- EHD (Electrohydrodynamics) and fluid dynamics,
- alternative dielectric liquids for electrical purposes,
- sustainable development in the field of dielectric liquids,
- measurement techniques applied to dielectric liquids including material characterization,
- dielectric liquids in high voltage eqiupment (including diagnosis, colling and cooperation with solid insulation),
- modeling and theory related to dielectric liquids,
- sensors and actuators based on dieletric liquids,
- other relevant topics on dielectric liquids.
The 23rd edition of IEEE ICDL will aim to provide the most advanced and comprehensive global forum for disseminating results and data in research, development, and applications in dielectric liquids. The conference will also aim to bring together world-renowned engineers and scientists from both academia and industry in this university environment.
The conference will be hosted by Lodz University of Technology, Lodz, Poland (exact venue will be announced soon) with Prof. Dr. Pawel Rozga, Associate Professor at the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering as a conference chairman.
The date of the conference is 18-22.05.2025.
